Arnaud: The brand to use is at your discretion. You can pick any brand, and just make it an IPOD inspired shoe, or you can experiment with making it an Apple shoe. That may be interesting. |

Here is a pic of the Chiefgliders they sent me. They sent me two pairs, which is awesome, and very generous. That way, I can wear one and save the other.
I picked the color scheme and materials for the shoe. The idea was to make the shoe's color scheme match that of the design I did to win the October theme. That would make the shoes relate to each other.
The quality is excellent and the shoe has nice little details. I haven't played ball in them, yet,and I won't get to until next week, but I'lllet you guys know how they do. They feel very light and are pretty narrow, but I have a narrow foot, so that works out. Also, they are a very lowcut mid.

Brian - The new Nano offers super thin and lightweight design. Using that as your inspiration, design an ultra lightweight performance basketball shoe.
I didnt make up the theme..but ofcourse anyone can draw inspiration from any aspect of it. |

Hey , my friends ! This here is a part of my unfinished tenis shoe concept .It's dedicated to the best , just 16 year-old , bulgarian tenis player , Sesil Karatancheva .I decide to preview this concept because just today she was banned for 2 years and will be out of the tenis world for a while .Anyway , I justwanted to support her somehow , and this is the best way I managed to do it .I hope you'll like this shoe , I'll show the whole final inspiration\performance presentation as soon as I can ... The IPOD is waiting ... Ole !

Vents:
Actually these are pretty cool but:
1) they look like some evolution of your adidas convertible shoes, especially the TPU heel clip which is recurrent in your latest stuff; after you changed your skin once a day last year, it seem like you are quite blocked with this kind of shoe , that, maybe, you are trying to bring to life just like it is in your head.
2) if the design is intended as an artistic view, it's ok, but if you present this one as a rendering the shape seems too thin at forefoot and too big in the heel. It is kinda difficult to imagine a normal foot inside of this shoe. If you change the shape the straps flowing on the medial part will also need some fixing work to obtain correct geometry.
Maybe your development work clears these little issues, so hope to see it soon along with your usual amazing presentations!!!
Keep it up

Vents: i agree with Pietro..its a nice concept and i love the color scheme, but the shape is way off. U should tweak the vamp and heel areas so that it still looks sleek, but naturalat the same time.

for real shoeheads like myself, entering this competition is not about winning material prizes...we do it for the love of shoes and sport, but what's just as important to me is actually gaining the respect of my peers..
