The blue would be rubber (I don't know the techical terms:)) the black on the upper would be something like a light breathable neoprene (so the foot wouldn't sweat too much). The white straps could be nubuck or leather. The straps would have a heavy duty velcro, so the shoes would be strong enough for actual ball (without fallin' apart). The toe would be leather too.
The grey would be a hexagonal (K1x use a hex pattern on some of their stuff so that's the reason for that) synthetic that would have to be waterproof because it continues from the upper to the sole. Not that it would need to be waterproof on a Basketball court but I like most of my designs to be multi-functional: ie you can wear 'em outside too:) Yah gotta be stylin at the mall don't yah?

how are the proportions now?

Note to potential employers:) concerning the last comment; its not like I'm getting paid for this:) For me, its the adventure of seeing what's gonna come from nothing that really fuels my fire. So we'll have to wait and see what comes next.

Well Rich,...I'm an Aries...I can't stand putting that much work into something and finding I have to totally do it over....I'm half-assin' it:) I'll keep proportions in mind for my next rendering.
Photoshop: I'll keep lookin'. Thanx.

Buh, man dont half a$$ it and just "stretch" it. Do it right, and it will pay dividens in the long run. As far as getting Photoshop, you have to purchase it..There are other means as some would know, but we couldnt discuss it here due to piracy laws. Hope you understand.

thanx for your critique rich...I think if I just stretch them a little that would fix them. I'll try. I'm limited very simple programs. No Photoshop. Where do you guys get your PS?

Buh, The proportions of your shoes are off. Your K1x are pretty interesting. Redraw it with the proper proportions and I can assure you, you wont be disappointed.

those are some aggressive lookin sleds, BK...they're a little bulky, but they're out there enough to end up pretty sweet, once you tack down the proportions. you've got a good eye for colorways.
