Overview: It really is a shame that the a3 Superstar Ultra had been recalled. It took much luster away from a very impressive luxury & performance shoe from adidas. What's worse is that the 2nd generation fails to live up to the hype created by the first shoe. The Superstar Ultra II drops its price to $100 and cost saving measures are immediately noticeable in design, quality and overall feel. The truth is, the II lost much of the classicness of the first that made consumers flop to the shoe. At the same time, uninspiring design and a Toyota Camry styling overshadows much of the goodness from the a3 cushioning. We doubt you'd be waiting in line for these shoes so it'd be wise to wait a couple of months and pick these up off the clearance rack.
